About the scholarship
Scholarship amount:
Up to $10,000
Number of awards:
Up to 10 awards based on the availability of funds and number of applications. A combination of new one- time and renewable scholarships will be made; renewable scholarships recipients must meet renewal requirements.
Eligibility requirements
Current or past co-worker, or a legal dependent or grandchild of a current or past employee of TD SYNNEX Corporation, or its subsidiaries who left the company in good standing and was employed for a minimum of 3 years at the time of the application deadline and hired before May 13, 2021.
Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership qualities through activities in school, community or social service activities.
Accepted into and confirmed intent to enroll OR currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program at one of the nationally ranked top 100 universities or a top 100 nationally ranked liberal arts college as published by U.S. News & World Report. Click on the appropriate country link below to view this year’s list of eligible colleges/universities. Note: A complete list of eligible universities and colleges as listed below is also included on the application website.
Finalists must interview with the selection committee.

Award recipients must be willing to share their experience with their peers and future applicants.
Application deadline
Greater Horizons must receive the completed online application form and all supporting materials (personal statement, letters of reference, transcripts, proof of employment OR prior employment and financial statements) in English by 11:59PM (PST) on May 13, 2024.
The Huang Leadership Development Scholarship is a fund of Greater Horizons and is committed to providing opportunities for those who are interested in helping talented young people pursue their dreams through a quality education. Each scholarship expresses a deep belief in the power of education and its ability to help young people achieve their dreams.
