Increase Your Profitability With Rebate and Co-op Funds
The Microsoft partner incentives portfolio is a powerful tool that rewards partners for engaging customers with Microsoft solutions and services.
The more you understand the Microsoft incentive resources available, the better you can maximize earning opportunities and create new value for your customers. At TD SYNNEX, we know it can be confusing for partners to understand all the incentive programs and benefits available to Microsoft partners – so let’s break it down.
What Are the Incentives Available to Microsoft Partners?
Microsoft Commerce Incentive (MCI) is the main incentive program that Microsoft cloud solution provider (CSP) indirect resellers are participating in today and is the program that pays rebate and co-op on the New Commerce Experience (NCE).
Here’s a quick portfolio view of all available MCI engagements. Each MCI engagement has its own requirements and percentage of earnings. For the full program details, download the incentives guide on Microsoft’s Commerce Incentive Resources page.

How Do You Earn Microsoft Commerce Incentives?
First, you must be fully enrolled before you can begin to earn rewards. You’ll also need to meet the following requirements:
- Complete onboarding and registration requirements under the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MAICPP).
- Sign the Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA).
- Gain Partner Authorization through the Microsoft CSP Indirect Reseller Channel.
- Enroll in the MCI program from Partner Center.
- Attain the required Solutions Partner designation.
- Earn $25,000 trailing twelve-month (TTM) revenue.
MCI is open enrollment. You will find the link to enroll in Microsoft Partner Center under the Incentives workspace. As part of the enrollment, you must enter valid and complete tax and bank details. Once you have met the eligibility criteria and are fully enrolled with no action items, you will then start to earn incentives. Contact your TD SYNNEX Microsoft representative for personalized guidance through this process or read more below.
How Do You Access Co-op?
Those participating in the Microsoft Commerce Incentives (MCI) program earn cooperative (co-op) marketing funds accrued across MCI engagements as one MCI co-op amount per enrolled partner.
- Partners that accrue earnings over $10,000 in co-op over a six- month earning period will be required to access and utilize these funds in the Microsoft Partner Center co-op claiming tool.
- Partners that accrue earnings under $10,000 over the same six- month period will be automatically converted and paid as a rebate in the next payment cycle.
