An Event We Won’t FOREget – Share the Magic Colorado’s Inaugural Golf Open

September 17th, 2021. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and players shouting “Fore!” could be heard throughout Coal Creek Golf Course. All jokes aside, the inaugural Share the Magic Colorado Golf Open hosted by SYNNEX Comstor was a huge success.

Thank you to the 128 golfers, 25 volunteers, and 10 sponsors who participated! With everyone’s help, we raised more than $38,000 for Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation and Hope for the Warriors veteran’s organization in this year’s event.

Next year we plan on bringing back the silent auction, the free lunch, and even more prizes! Even if you don’t shoot the lowest score, you may win something for the most mulligans or the craziest outfit.

            The giving doesn’t stop when the event is over. If you would like to show your support, please consider donating.  

Once again, thank you for everyone who joined us this year. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Tee Off to Support TD SYNNEX Share the Magic Colorado

TD SYNNEX is going clubbing and you’re invited! Yes, we’re hitting the golf course to support two wonderful charities, and we need YOU to help us crush it in the inaugural TD SYNNEX Share the Magic Open.

Join us on Friday, September 17, at Coal Creek Golf Course in Louisville, CO. Show off your mad golfing skills for the chance to win prizes and then enjoy lunch and a silent auction.

TD SYNNEX Share the Magic is a non-profit entity that supports the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation and the Hope for the Warriors veteran’s organization. With your help, we can Share the Magic and make life a little more enjoyable for children, veterans, and their families.

We’re offering a variety of sponsorships and a silent auction so there are many ways to show your support. Whether you play or sponsor, come on out to the course and enjoy a fun day with friends for two good causes.

TD SYNNEX Share the Magic Colorado Meets Fundraising Goal

Thanks to your generosity, we have surpassed our initial $10,000 goal for TD SYNNEX Share the Magic Colorado! In just six weeks and through the busy holiday season, we totaled $10,051! And you know what that means: We qualify for additional funding.

That’s right, because we hit our goal, the family of Peter Larocque, President of TD SYNNEX Corporation, has already donated a matching $10,000. On top of that, Cisco is providing a $5,000 sponsorship.

If you’ve been doing the math, that means we now have $25,000 to Share the Magic with our two beneficiary organizations: Hope for the Warriors and the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation.

All of this and we are just getting started! In the weeks and months to come, you will be hearing more about plans to expand our reach in the community as we continue to raise funds to enable us to Share the Magic.

Although somewhat limited by current COVID-19 restrictions, we will do our best to get creative and come up with some fun activities. To that point, if you know of any virtual fund-raising events that you think would work for Share the Magic, please contact us at sharethemagicco@synnex.com.

In the meantime, we are continuing to accept donations. Every dollar counts, every donation has an impact, and every person we help feels the love.

One way to continue to help Share the Magic is to spread the word. Help multiply our voices and encourage team members, family, and friends to donate if they share a desire to make a tax-deductible contribution.

TD SYNNEX Share the Magic Colorado Fundraising Goal Within Our Reach

Amazing. Remarkable. Inspiring. In no time, we are well on our way to achieving the $10,000 fund-raising goal for TD SYNNEX Share the Magic Colorado!

“We have already surpassed the $5,000 mark, and we’d love to go keep the train rolling and raise the full $10,000 before the end of the year,” said Jay Denton, SVP/GM of SYNNEX Comstor NA and Chairman of Share the Magic Colorado. “I challenge us as a caring organization to support these important causes. I know we can do it!”

If that wasn’t already incredible, Cisco has recently stepped up and offered to match us with a truly generous $5,000 sponsorship if we reach our goal! Big shout out to Cisco!

And as you are no doubt aware, hitting the $10,000 threshold will trigger a matching donation of $10,000 from TD SYNNEX Americas President Peter Larocque and his wife Lisa. Peter founded TD SYNNEX Share the Magic in Greenville, SC, and he and Lisa are eager to help us launch Share the Magic Colorado. Big shout out to the Larocque family!

Of course, a big shout out to all of you have already donated to Share the Magic Colorado.
