As the summer heat intensifies, so does the race to earn the TD SYNNEX Bingo Incentive before it’s too late. With security being a major focus not just at Cisco but on a global scale, this opportunity allows distribution partners a chance to further cultivate their security knowledge while connecting more customers with the latest security solutions. The end of July is quickly approaching, and it’s now or never for participating partners to make their final moves to secure the hefty bonus being offered. The EDGE360 team recently got the lowdown from TD SYNNEX Product Business Manager for Cisco Security, James McGregor, about what partners need to do and why the focus on security this year.
The biggest change to those who are used to the end of year Bingo SPIFF is that rather than an architecturally agnostic approach, the focus is solely on security-related activities and bookings.
In recent times, security concerns have reached new heights, dominating conversations in the technology world. Leading the charge is Cisco, a key player that has placed an enormous emphasis on security, as evident from last month’s Cisco Live! convention in Las Vegas. Conversations involving XDR and the announcement of Cisco Secure Access demonstrates Cisco’s commitment to combating evolving threats. With substantial resources dedicated to enhancing security measures, it’s clear that the need to protect end-user customers has become more pressing than ever. Focusing this end-of-year incentive on security ensures that partners remain at the forefront of the security conversation, equipped with the knowledge and expertise needed to tackle emerging threats head-on. By participating in the TD SYNNEX Bingo Incentive, partners not only contribute to the growth of their business but also help safeguard their end-user customers.
At this point, most partners are well aware of the two essential components needed to receive this incentive: Bingo squares and bookings. First, distribution partners must complete four out of the fifteen security-specific bingo squares before the end of July. From attending live webinars and in-person Cybersolv or Beyond Security events to demonstrating and trialing cutting-edge security products, the choices are diverse and exciting.
In addition to the Bingo squares, partners need to meet their unique booking goals. Each partner’s bookings are individually assessed, taking into account their security-specific spend from April to July of last year, along with an added uplift. It’s essential to remember that this uplift is tailored to the security domain, aligning perfectly with the heightened focus Cisco has placed on security in recent times.
By offering a diverse range of security products, partners can engage in meaningful conversations with customers about their specific needs. Whether it’s protecting hospitals from debilitating ransomware attacks or securing students’ and teachers’ data as they navigate the digital learning environment, the role businesses play as TD SYNNEX partners extends far beyond selling products—it’s about being a trusted security advisor.
As the TD SYNNEX bingo incentive draws to a close at the end of July, now is the time to seize the moment and capitalize on the security-focused opportunities it presents. With Cisco’s emphasis on security and the critical need to protect end-user customers, the TD SYNNEX bingo incentive serves as a catalyst for growth and advancement. To check status, understand booking goals, or learn how to secure those final Bingo squares, partners shouldn’t waste a minute reaching out to McGregor. He is eager to assist in any way he can, providing guidance and support to help partners make the most of this incentive.
