In this latest podcast, David McNicholas, Director of US Strategic Business Development for Comstor, tells us that when it comes to securing the network and all of an organization’s valuable intelligence, taking a holistic approach is the only way to maximize security.
Comstor has engaged long time security experts to develop such a holistic approach they call the “Ring of Security.” According to McNicholas, despite the advancements in network security technologies, it’s simply not enough. The “Ring of Security” approach avoids relying solely on technology and includes organizational integration across people, processes and facilities. Without this type of integrated approach, 75% of your ring of security is exposed, McNicholas says.
