Three major events for the VAR community just concluded showcasing new technologies, marketing tactics, and sales opportunities. All three events featured influential speakers, along with breakout sessions to help VARs grow their business. Each event had one trend in common – customer experience. VARs who are looking to grow their business must not only focus on the technologies driving companies, but the experience they offer their customers to be successful. In today’s world of digital selling and instant gratification, customer experience is key for a successful practice.

SYNNEX Varnex Spring Conference
The SYNNEX Spring Conference took place March 24-27 in Greenville, SC. More than 200 SYNNEX VARs gathered together to network and discover new technologies and solutions. Speakers included John Brookbank, Vice President of Cisco Americas Distribution, Stephen Miller of ThinkShield Security at Lenovo North America, and Sandi Stambaugh, VP of Product Management at SYNNEX. VARs learned about customer experience, IoT, and cloud networks from leading companies.

SYNNEX Red, White and You Conference
Red, White and You brings together federal, state, and local healthcare and education provider partners. Held from March 26-28, this SYNNEX conference offered insights into public sector trends and spending. Speakers included John Brookbank, Vice President of Cisco Americas Distribution, Eddie Franklin, SYNNEX Vice President of Sales, Public Sector and Vertical Markets, and Trey Gowdy, US Representative for South Carolina’s 4th Congressional District from 2011 to 2019. Sessions focused on the array of tools available to VARs, emerging technologies, and the importance of customer experience.

Cisco Marketing Velocity
Marketing Velocity, an event focused on the changing world of marketing, was held in New Orleans from March 27-29. The two-day event focused on how marketers must adapt to meet customer demand and how Cisco can be a strategic asset in this process. Private workshops, sessions on digital marketing, and sales and marketing tools were showcased to help VARs on their selling journey.
