Value-added resellers (VARs) and other Comstor partners will head to the 2017 Comstor Federal Executive Summit (#ComstorFS17) for a variety of reasons, but one of the most popular reasons is that they will have the opportunity to hear from Cisco leaders about the company’s strategy and where they are putting their time and energy. VARs, many of whom are heavily invested in Cisco, want to align with their strategy, according to Dan Forbes, Comstor Director of Business Development, in a recent EDGE360 interview.
Other hot topics will range from vehicles available for Comstor partners to access federal business and government spend in the coming year, as well whether they may hit any barriers and ensuring they have the right vehicle to participate in contracts.
Some years are good for defense agencies and other years are good for the civilian side of the federal government, in terms of spend, and a key role Comstor plays for #ComstorFS17 attendees is trying to help them understand what direction that will take.
Of course, direction will be heavily influenced by the new Administration, and expert presenters will have some insight on that, which should be of great benefit to VARs and Comstor partners.
According to Forbes, the Summit allows Comstor and speakers to share what they are hearing from agencies and “the hum from inside the Beltway.”
