As the world continues to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, we are facing unprecedented times. In the U.S., school districts are closed, and citizens are under stay-at-home orders, while retail, restaurants and hospitality establishments have closed their doors to help flatten the virus curve. Medical facilities, meanwhile, are under siege, overwhelmed by the volume of cases.

Employees in all industries, some for the first time, are learning to telework. Comstor understands this is uncharted territory for many. We are here to help and keep you informed of all of the Cisco incentives that can help you during this time.

Together, we can help protect organizations that are now faced with an increase of remote workers. Cisco is now providing many incentives, extended trial license periods, and expanded usage counts at no extra charge for certain services. Here are several of the new incentives below:

Stay Connected with Cisco Webex: For continuity of business operations, Cisco is expanding its Webex free offering to allow employees to stay connected to their teams while working remotely.

  • Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client enables employees to work from anywhere, on any device, while providing visibility and security controls to manage devices tapping into the network. Current customers can now exceed their user limit to support the increase of teleworkers due to COVID-19 safety recommendations. New customers can get started by reaching out to Cisco or a partner.

Secure Remote Workers and Reduce Vulnerabilities: This will include security for remote employees by expanding usage counts at no extra charge for the following:

  • Cisco Umbrella: An easy-to-implement cloud security service that protects users from malicious internet destinations both on and off the network. The initial 14-day free period has been extended to 90 days.
    • Cisco DUO Security: Leveraging a zero-trust model, this service enables organizations to verify user identities and establish device trust before granting access. This decreases the attach surface and reduces risk. New customers can now access a free license and existing customers can extend their user limit to support remote workers.

While we are uncertain of what the future holds, together Comstor and Cisco remain committed to helping partners with business continuity. All of these offers and incentives will remain available through July 1, 2020.
