In today’s interconnected, digital world, cyberattacks are becoming increasingly prevalent. Approximately every 39 seconds, someone becomes a victim of a data breach, phishing attack, or other cybercrime. And being able to respond to a cyberattack effectively is a necessity for any Cisco partner. To ensure partners are confident in their ability to handle cyberattacks, TD SYNNEX designed the Cyber Range program. In a recent webinar, Cisco executives and partners discuss the company’s security solutions and services offered at the TD SYNNEX Cyber Range, including remote engagements and plans for incorporating Cisco gear.
“It’s a very exciting topic that our partners have been chomping at the bit to find out more about,” said James McGregor, U.S. GTM Strategist, Cisco Security for TD SYNNEX. “We’re excited to share some of the updates that we’ve done with our Cyber Range.”
The TD SYNNEX Cyber Range program is a safe, immersive experience that places partners in real-life cyberattack scenarios. These training programs and simulated cyberattacks, also known as incident response training, are designed to challenge and enhance current cybersecurity skills. Partners who are not able to attend events in person can experience the training virtually.
“We’re engaging as many senses as we can to really drive that experience to you,” said Richard Gordon, Cyber Range Master at TD SYNNEX. “In addition to that, we are showing you in real time, what cybersecurity solutions can do–how they can solve problems for you and for your customers.”
Partners are encouraged to invite end customers to experience firsthand how their solutions can address specific needs. During these engaging interactions, customers often express immediate interest in making a purchase. “Our sales teams consistently observe that when an opportunity involves bringing end customers into the conversation, we achieve an impressive 95 percent closure rate on those opportunities,” said Gordon.
TD SYNNEX and Cisco have made a massive investment in the Cyber Range program using some of the latest Cisco solutions. Soon, the full suite of Cisco security products including XDR Cisco Meraki, Cloud, and IoT is anticipated to be added to Cyber Range. “We’re making a massive investment here,” said Brent Gardner, a CCIE, CISSP and Solutions Architect at TD SYNNEX. “Both in terms of financial investment and adopting some new technologies that, in many cases, have only been released in the last months.”
Additionally, the team outlined several ways to leverage Cisco security services and support to enable growth, highlighting the importance of understanding Cisco’s security suite. “We can give technical guidance and scope and consultation about Cisco security products,” said Fredman Robles, Solutions Architect at TD SYNNEX. “This includes training sessions, workshops, knowledge transfer programs to ensure that the partners or party personnel are familiar with the solution.”
