As we continue to navigate and learn to thrive in a hybrid work environment, it is important to offer valuable knowledge and training to the Cisco community and EDGE partners. Ongoing education optimizes partners’ Cisco business. The SYNNEX Comstor team has a robust training series in place this quarter.

With the Cisco ecosystem constantly modernizing and adapting to customer needs, it’s crucial for distribution partners like SYNNEX Comstor to make that information readily available to partners, especially when fewer in-person events are taking place. For this reason, the Cisco 101 and EDGE webinar series, hosted by SYNNEX Comstor, feature experts on various topics across the Cisco ecosystem and dig into various challenges and best practices for helping partners become and stay profitable.

“We don’t get deep into speeds and feeds during these events,” explained Shawn Motley, Director, Cisco Product Business Management at SYNNEX Comstor. “It’s more about helping our partners understand Cisco solutions and answer questions like, ‘What business case does this solve?’ or ‘Why would my customers care?’ or “How do I make myself the primary point of contact for this solution?’”

A few of the upcoming sessions include:

Webex Transitions: SWSS to Flex, CUWP to NFR, Spark Migration

This EDGE session will address transitions taking place across the Cisco ecosystem and will show partners how to seamlessly move to newer, modernized platforms. CUWP has been retired, and in its place is the new Collaboration SaaS track NFR. Spark Calling is also end-of-life, replaced with Webex Calling. Partners will find the support they need through these transitions in this session. Cisco and SYNNEX Comstor leaders will discuss strategy and planning for each of these migration scenarios.
