Cisco Partner Summit is about helping more than 60,000 global partners find their “edge.” That means learning about new technology, growing their business, and embracing the changing customer dynamic. This year’s Cisco Partner Summit’s theme was “Own your edge.”
Oliver Tuszik, Cisco channel leader, and Chuck Robbins, Cisco CEO, were among the first speakers at the three-day event. Robbins discussed the importance of company culture and why, for Cisco, it’s a cornerstone of business.

Robbins and Tuszik participated in multiple discussions at the conference. Robbins delivered the opening keynote and discussed the future of Cisco, which is focused on customer experience, business transformation, and bringing new products to partners. Tuszik, who spoke later that day, explored the importance of partners as individuals. “It’s your unique DNA that drives profitability,” he said.
Gerri Elliot, Cisco Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, and Jim Walsh, Cisco SVP of Growth Marketing, also took the stage to unveil Cisco Designed for Business that provides flexibility and security for small businesses and SMB partners.
