Today is International Women’s Day, and a good time to reflect on the importance of diversity in the IT channel. A balanced workforce is better for everyone. As the organizing body for International Women’s Day shared, “A balanced world is a better world,” and companies can help forge a more gender-balanced world by celebrating women’s achievements and raising awareness against bias. The IT channel is striving to achieve this balance.

From manufacturer, to distributor, to partner and reseller, each part of the channel is striving to celebrate the role that women play in the workforce.
This week, Westcon-Comstor will celebrate International Women’s Day with pop-up events at partner sites with a focus on diversity and inclusion in the channel celebrating both men and women who contribute to the channel.

SYNNEX also has created its own network F2F, to promote diversity within its culture. The community unites women within the industry to collaborate and share to promote personal and professional growth.
