For years now, SYNNEX Share the Magic has been making a difference in the South Carolina Upstate community. With this year’s 8th annual fund-raising gala on October 8 in Greenville, SC, host SYNNEX continues its tradition of giving back.

SYNNEX Share the Magic, a fundraising initiative created by SYNNEX Corporation, provides much-needed funding for South Carolina children and their families facing incredible challenges, such as: Life-threatening illness, abuse, and neglect.

Through the fund-raising gala, SYNNEX brings it vendor partners, customers, and the South Carolina Upstate community together for an inspiring evening to raise money for four incredible children’s charities in the Upstate.

With the support of SYNNEX Share the Magic, four community organizations and those they serve have benefitted as follows:

• A Child’s Haven: Decreased its dependency on diminishing government funds, allowing them to serve more young children suffering from trauma or developmental delays. Additionally, it allowed their parents to receive necessary therapeutic interventions.

• Clement’s Kindness: Provided Upstate hospitals with critical facility upgrades that directly serve thousands of children impacted by pediatric cancer and blood disorders. Also provided over $935,000 in direct financial assistance and programs to the families.

• Make-A-Wish South Carolina: Granted 184 wishes last year, averaging a wish every 48 hours. Make-A-Wish believes hope is medicine, and their mission is to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Wishes provide wish kids with hope, renewed energy and strength – aiding them in facing their conditions and in healing.

• Pendleton Place: Provided residential and family-based services to 1,285 abused, neglected, and at-risk children in the Upstate community.

SYNNEX Share the Magic is magical, indeed.
