Comstor will be getting a jumpstart on the Federal Buying season this month when it hosts the 6th annual Comstor Federal Executive Summit in Reston, VA. The Summit is an exclusive forum for our partner executives to share in strategic discussions with members of the Cisco and Comstor leadership teams.
Comstor started these yearly summits in 2009 with a group of 25, and this year we anticipate a group of more than 150 leaders representing our partners, Cisco and Comstor at this exclusive conference. Thus year’s our featured presenter is Larry Payne, Cisco Area Vice President of U.S. Federal Sales, who is responsible for Cisco’s entire U.S. Federal market, including Defense, Civilian and Intelligence. U.S. Federal is the second largest market in the Americas and one that Cisco has supported for more than 25 years.
Geoff Fancher , Senior Vice President, Comstor US, , will serve as host and moderator of the Summit. Other distinguished presenters include:

The day will include a presentation on Cloud Solutions for Federal Partners by Matt Karst, Comstor Senior Director, Cloud Services, and Kevin Schatzle, CEO, collab9. Other highlights include an interactive panel of federal experts, including: Dave McClure, Chief Strategist, Veris Group, LLC; David M. Wennergren, Senior VP, Technology, Professional Services Council; and Jim Williams, President, Williams-Schambach, with discussion being facilitated by Alan Balutis, Director of Federal IBSG, Cisco. They will explore how flattened federal IT budgets still allow for the adoption of disruptive technologies, what those technologies are and what federal agencies are considering when they are making purchases.
